Partners: frequently asked questions
Short answers to what WhatsMarketing partners ask most when getting started. If your question is about your own figures,
they're in your agreement and in your portal.
Who it's for: owners and teams of partner organizations. Screen: https://micuenta.whatsmarketing.es/partner
How much commission do I earn, and when?
Your percentages are set out in your financial annex, which you'll find in Partners → My agreement («Partners → Mi
acuerdo»): that's where your document with commissions, tiers, settlement and benefits lives, generated from your actual
terms, with the button to accept it and download it as a PDF; if your terms change, a new version appears and the
previous ones are kept. We don't publish them outside your portal. You earn a recurring commission on what your
attributed clients pay for their plan, and on AI agents (monthly fee and setup). From the Pro Partner tier you also
share in your clients' messaging. Each commission accrues when the client pays, becomes payable after 30 days if there
was no refund, and is transferred once a month, in the currency your client pays in, once you exceed your currency's
minimum payout. You can see it all in Partners → Commissions («Partners → Comisiones») and Partners → Payouts («Partners
→ Pagos»). If you don't see your annex in Partners → My agreement, write to us through 24/7 Support.
My client needs an invoice in their name (in Argentina, a "factura A")
Today your client pays WhatsMarketing directly and receives from Billing («Facturación») a receipt with tax itemized,
not a tax invoice. In Argentina, if you're a partner, you issue the factura A to each of your clients for the public
price; WhatsMarketing invoices you each month for the net amount of your commission and settles your commission with the
VAT that applies, so the VAT you invoice to your clients balances out. We send you the month's list of payments for your
invoicing before the end of the month; if you need it earlier, request it through 24/7 Support. Electronic invoicing
from the platform is in preparation.
Can I enter my client's account to manage it for them?
Yes, with technical access: Partners → Technical access → Enter («Partners → Acceso técnico → Entrar»). You enter the
client's account in 60-minute sessions to set up WhatsApp, templates, automations, AI agents and integrations. It
doesn't use up the client's agent seats and it's logged. For clients you sign up from your portal it comes enabled; for
the rest, the client's administrator approves it and can revoke it whenever they want. You don't see their conversations
or contacts from your portal.
Do I get the plan at no cost as a partner?
Yes. When you're approved, your organization receives the Starter plan at no cost for 3 months, once only, to use with
your own number. Messaging is paid separately through the wallet, like any client. You can subscribe or upgrade whenever
you want from Billing.
Do I connect my clients' WhatsApp lines myself?
Yes, but from the client's account, not from yours. When you click "Connect with Meta" («Conectar con Meta») in your
partner account, the panel asks "Is this line yours or a client's?" («¿Esta línea es tuya o de un cliente?»): choose
"It's a client's" («Es de un cliente»), select the client and the panel enters their account with technical access to
connect it there. If you connected it from your own account, the number ended up in your organization and your client
can't see it: in Account → WhatsApp («Cuenta → WhatsApp») of your account, click "Move to a client" («Mover a un
cliente») below the WhatsApp Business account, choose the client and confirm; the account, its numbers and its
templates move over, and from then on messaging is charged to the client's wallet. If the number comes from the WhatsApp
app, another provider or an unofficial tool, follow the tutorial "Move your WhatsApp number from the app or another
provider".
The portal asks me for my "tax status" («condición fiscal»)
It's your company's taxpayer type, needed to invoice and settle your commissions: in Argentina, responsable inscripto as
an individual, SRL, SAS or SA (monotributistas must switch to responsable inscripto before joining the program); in
Spain, autónomo or SL; in Mexico, persona física con actividad empresarial, RESICO or persona moral; in Brazil, Simples
Nacional, Lucro Presumido or Lucro Real. The partner's owner or an administrator sets it from the notice in the portal;
afterwards it's changed through 24/7 Support.
Do I get a landing page for my ads and my clients?
Yes. In Partners → Overview («Partners → Resumen»), in the "Your landing page" («Tu landing») block, you have your short
URL (whatsmarketing.es/p/your-code; in Argentina, whatsmarketing.com.ar/p/your-code), the button to copy it, share it on
WhatsApp and download the QR code. It's the WhatsMarketing BOT IA landing page "presented by" your company: the visitor
tries the agent live, the bot introduces itself on your behalf and every WhatsApp button leads to your WhatsApp. To
activate it, complete the public profile in that same block: trade name, contact WhatsApp with prefix (required),
website and logo. Until you enter the WhatsApp number, your URL shows the regular WhatsMarketing demo.
Where do the leads from my landing page go?
To your portal, in Partners → Leads, already accepted in your name and with no deadline, with the form data, the summary
of the conversation with the bot and the campaign source (utm) if the URL carried it. We notify the owner,
administrators and sales staff in the panel and by email, and the owner by WhatsApp. Those leads don't go through
WhatsMarketing's sales team. You can add your own utm parameters to the URL to tell campaigns apart.
Can the bot be placed on a website?
Today the BOT IA serves on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. Web chat for your clients' sites is on our roadmap. In the
meantime, put a "Message us on WhatsApp" button on the site that opens the client's number: the bot answers there.
Can replies to a campaign be routed to another number or somewhere else?
What the end customer writes is never charged. What Meta charges is the business's reply, and only once you go past
the 1,000 service conversations per number per month, which are free of charge. That's why:
- Replies arrive in the WhatsMarketing inbox and are answered from there within the 24-hour window. Each number has
its own monthly allowance.
- If you want replies to reach another system, they're forwarded by webhook to your CRM or whatever tool you use, at
no cost (Campaigns → campaign settings («Campañas → ajustes de la campaña»)).
- Routing replies to another WhatsApp number isn't possible or advisable: Meta rejects templates with links to
WhatsApp (wa.me) and penalizes routing to unofficial numbers. You can add a call button or a button to your website
to the template.
- Beyond the allowance, a service conversation costs a fraction of a marketing message: what weighs in a campaign is
the template, not the reply.
When to ask 24/7 Support for help
If you don't see your financial annex in Partners → My agreement, if your client needs an invoice with different
